Sv. Trojica hill

Sveta Trojica is a scenic peak located east of Pivka. The legendary Martin Krpan is supposed to roam here. A small church stood on the top as early as the 17th century, but it collapsed somewhere at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It was recently rebuilt and seems to have stood here since time immemorial. The described approach is partly suitable as a family trip in nature. In this case, you can drive to Sevski gozd. Or take a stroller ride along the scenic macadam road from the starting point to Sevski gozd. The described return and thus the circular route is less suitable than a family trip. From the top you can see the Nanoška plateau, Pivška podolje, Javorniki, Snežnik, Vremščica and also the Hrušica hills. On the way back we have a beautiful view of the Lačno valley. Sveta Trojica nad Pivko is located in the Primorska and Notranjska region and the Notranjska subregion. According to a detailed classification, it lies in the Western Dinaric Council and the Javorniki subregion. At the top is an enrollment box and a lookout board.
