Predjama Castle, only 10 km away from Postojna Cave, has reigned in a 123 m high rock wall for more than 700 years, mighty, challenging and invincible. The real home of the daring, stubborn and rebellious knight Erasmus of Predjama from the 15th century. Among the more interesting parts of the castle are living quarters, a chapel and a dungeon, and some pieces of weapons, oil paintings and a Pietà from 1420 are in the foreground. Here you can also see the fountain and the entrance to the legendary Erasmus tunnel. From May to October you can visit the picturesque Cave under Predjama Castle, which is considered the second longest cave in Slovenia. An unforgettable family trip!
